This sermon explores the power of personal testimony and the calling every believer has to share what God has done in their lives. Through three biblical stories, we are reminded that we don’t need a platform, a pulpit, or extensive theological knowledge to share our faith; we simply need to be willing to tell our story and point people to Jesus. As followers of Christ, we are encouraged to become more aware of the Holy Spirit’s work in and through our everyday lives, recognising His faithfulness, guidance, provision, healing, and transforming power rather than dismissing these moments as mere coincidence. Testimonies are more than stories about the past; they declare the goodness of God, strengthen the faith of others, and create opportunities for people to encounter Jesus for themselves. Not every testimony involves a dramatic miracle or an immediate breakthrough. Sometimes, we experience God’s power through deliverance from a difficult season, while at other times, we discover His sustaining grace as He carries us through it. Whatever our story may look like, no testimony is too ordinary or insignificant. When we share honestly and boldly about God’s faithfulness, we give Him glory, encourage the Church, and open the door for others to believe that the same God who has been at work in our lives can work in theirs too.
