Contentment is something most of us chase but rarely feel like we have caught. Paul wrote about it from a prison cell in Philippians 4, describing a peace that was not dependent on his circumstances but rooted in his trust in God. True contentment is not about getting everything on your wish list. It is about recognizing that your worth comes from your Maker, not from your achievements, possessions, or the opinions of others. Being content in God does not mean giving up your dreams or desires. It means making Him the priority desire above all others. Because God never changes, your contentment in Him does not have to change either. The real question worth sitting with is this: if God never gave you another thing, would He still be enough?
